Tia B is a radio presenter and DJ, best known for hosting a weekly show. Her passion for music was inspired by her older brother, who was a DJ deeply involved in sound system culture.
In 1990, Alamantando—a creative figure within that same culture—selected Tia to be part of an all-female sound system. Since then, she has grown into an all-rounder DJ and MC, known for playing a wide variety of genres including Reggae, Revival, Dancehall, RnB, Hip Hop, Funky House/Garage, Afro, and Soul music. Tia embraces all forms of music with open arms.
Through her journey, Tia B aims to inspire and encourage more women to pursue careers as DJs. Her motto: "Do what you love, love what you do—I do."
