Ras Tread aka High-Priest, born Colin Braham is a Birmingham-born Rastafarian musician, sound system operator, and community figure. From a young age, he developed a passion for music, learning guitar at age seven and later building his own speakers and subwoofers. Deeply involved in the UK reggae scene, he became a member of several renowned sound systems, including Jah Orthodox Sound, Jungleman Outernational Sound, and for the past eight years, Jah Voice Sound System. His technical skills in electronics and audio engineering have been central to his work, crafting powerful, high-quality sound for live events. Through decades of experience, he has played a key role in promoting reggae music and Rastafarian culture, both locally and internationally. His music journey runs parallel to his extensive photography career, global travels, and dedication to community service.
