Dee Lite started her musical career from a young age by using her school dinner money to buy her favourite records and making mixtapes for friends. With this, she developed a taste and a passion to entertain people with her musical vibes.
Fast forward to early 2000’s, Dee Lite started playing music online then progressed to playing at dances in Bedford and surrounding areas on her cousins sound system – Cultural Roots. She’s played alongside sounds such as Saxon, Fatman, Love Injection, One Love and more.
Versatile in different genres: revival, rare groove, roots & culture, independent soul and reggae, Dee Lite learned to hold her own no matter the occasion.
In 2015 Dee Lite with one of her friends set up their own online radio station uniquevibez.com Whilst the station is still going, Dee wanted to do her own thing where she hosts radio shows across social media twice a week: Weds 8am-3pm on The Breakfast Mix with Pablo Mix and on a Thursday morning 9am-12 Groove in Motion where she rolls solo.
In 2017, Dee Lite received an award for her contribution to the music scene within the 3 Counties region and in 2024 won another award for services to music.
