Each and every Monday in night in life since 2001, Jam Jah Mondays is the longest lasting weekly Reggae and Dancehall Soundsystem Culture event in Europe, with Jam Jah Sound in full effect and special guests from near and far.
This week’s guest could not make it, and we are sending Dexter Dex best wishes for a speedy recovery.
This week, Jam Jah Sound took the controls, with a special Friendly Fire Music selection showcasing some of the Friendly Fire Music Vinyl available on the Jam Jah Stall. As well as Myki Tuff dropping lyrics, shoutout to Lion Art, original Jam Jah Soldier, who blessed us with his classic “Legalize it” song.

Nigel Dexter, aka DJ Dexter Dex, is a Birmingham-born vinyl selecta who began spinning in 1993 with Hardway Immortal Sound from Nechells. Over the years, he’s played at iconic venues including Ipanema Bar on Broad Street, The Yardbird at Paradise Circus, Café One in Five Ways, and Pressure Drop at Moseley Arms. His sets have also reached audiences in Wandsworth, London, and at Do The Ska in Bicester.
