Regular Reggae EVENTS in Birmingham:
Birmingham is often referred to as the UK’s Reggae Capital, having cradled bands like Steel Pulse, UB40, Eclipse, Capital Letters, Israel Movement, Black Symbol, amongst many more, and legendary soundsystems such as Quaker City, Mafiatone, Studio City, Wassifa, Jungleman, Jah Massigan, Sir Christopher, Duke Alloy and later Luv Injection, King Earthquake and of course Jam Jah Sound amongst many more… But it’s not always easy to find out what is happening, so here’s an overview of regular Reggae Events in the city.
WEEKLY MONDAYS:

The UK’s longest lasting weekly Reggae Soundsystem Culture event, hosted by Jam Jah Sound in full effect, with special guest artists and selectors, each and every Monday in life, from Revive to Dancehall.

WEEKLY THURSDAYS
Vinyl Thursdays @ Onyx Bar, West Brom
Every Thursday, Vinyl Thursdays receives 2 vinyl only selectors, playing themed sets: Early Reggae, Lovers Rock, Soul, Roots and Culture and Jamaican Loves Songs. Vinyl Thursdays also organise the Clash of the Gladiators soundclash.
