Although a new selector and sound on the circuit, he has been filling his cocoa basket for over 30 years and has a deep collection that spans all decades of Jamaican music. This was most recently showcased in the Gladiator Cup Clash in Birmingham earlier this year.Although he didn’t emerge victorious against Birmingham legend Raddy Rockers, he won over the hearts of the crowd and fellow selectors with his unbridled passion and deep respect for reggae music. For the last year he has been keeping a monthly vinyl only sound system session in Leeds called Tradition. This has quickly become the go to foundation reggae night in the Yorkshire area. Guests have included legends such as Fluid Irie and Selector Garnet. His mission statement is “serious music for serious people”.
