Each and every Monday in night in life since 2001, Jam Jah Mondays is the longest lasting weekly Reggae and Dancehall Soundsystem Culture event in Europe, with Jam Jah Sound in full effect and special guests from near and far.
This week, our very special guest was Birmingham’s first female Roots Soundsystem operator:

Rusty Rebel is a prominent figure in the Birmingham reggae scene, known as the operator of the Rebel Rock Sound System. She is recognised as the first female-operated sound system in Birmingham and one of the first in the UK.
